Outlined Identities reflects on how memory and identity persist in the face of loss and erasure.
The red dianthus, a symbol of remembrance and resistance, is drawn from a photograph and meant to be reproduced as one hundred silkscreen prints. These prints were to be sent to the artist in Iran, where each outline would be reworked by hand, traced, interpreted, and transformed, marking a quiet collaboration across borders.
The process was paused. In times of war, survival takes precedence. It will be resumed—but when it does, we won’t be the same people we were before.
