2024 - 2025

1/4 What you see is a forced whole.

It was never meant to be complete.

These pieces should have been kept or sent. The work is shaped by fragments you’ll find throughout

I Whisper, to Whom It May Concern combines narrative, theory, and personal and collective history through a form of self-whispering. The work is designed to be read while holding a single photograph as the “object,” layered between transparent pages that evoke the overlapping nature of thoughts and memory. It should hold the traces of past and present, alongside my whispering that reaches into the future. The printed version is the last preview PDF sent by my dear designer friend from Iran before the war unfolded in June 2025, and the internet was cut soon after. Rather than alter her work without her, I chose to add by hand what remained unfinished, allowing the traces to remain visible and acknowledged.
